According to a press release, Jose\u0301 Maria Neves makes this visit to Sal, within the framework of the proximity magistracy that he defined for his mandate, at a time when the tourist island, after the pandemic, is now looking to rebuild itself with the resumption of tourism, its main economic activity.<\/p>\n

The head of state, who intends to see the social reality, economic dynamics and the island\u2019s major challenges after being buffeted by the impacts of the covid-19 pandemic, begins his work schedule with a courtesy visit to the mayor, Ju\u0301lio Lopes, at 09:00. Then to the A\u0301guas de Ponta Preta Company, and to the National Institute of Meteorology and Geophysics (INMG).<\/p>\n
