Africa-Press – Cape verde. <\/strong><\/span>The environmental initiative \u201cPraia Cidade Verde\u201d planted 50 seedlings of fruit trees today at Constantino Semedo Secondary School, in the neighborhood of Sa\u0303o Filipe, in the city of Praia.<\/p>\n

The act is part of the campaign that has been carried out by environmental activist Emileno Ortet, through the company Agrofloresta Rui Vaz, which aims to transform Praia into a green, clean and sustainable city.<\/p>\n

After contemplating several neighborhoods in the country’s capital, this time it was the turn of Constantino Semedo Secondary School, the birthday boy this Saturday, 04.<\/p>\n

Helping to fight climate change<\/p>\n

According to Emileno Ortet, a total of 50 fruit plants were planted, including mangoes, guavas, pine nuts, pitangas and tangerines, thanks to a partnership between Agrofloresta and Garantia Seguros.<\/p>\n

The idea is to help combat climate change, improving the atmosphere, climate and fighting hunger, in addition to bringing more beauty to the city.<\/p>\n

Agrofloresta has been committed to combating desertification, encouraging companies and entities to join the project to promote green spaces throughout the national territory.<\/p>\n
