Africa-Press – Cape verde. <\/strong><\/span>On the 28th of February, 1st and 2nd of March, the Associac\u0327a\u0303o Luso\u0301fona de Energias Renova\u0301veis \u200b\u200bholds online training on renewable energies aimed at journalists, journalism students and other professionals in the field of communication.<\/p>\n

According to a press release, the aim is to provide journalists with knowledge and tools for better media coverage of renewable energies in Portuguese-speaking African countries.<\/p>\n

The training will have a total of six hours, with classes from 10am to 12pm, on February 28th, March 1st and 2nd, in an online format.<\/p>\n

On the first day, February 28, a general theoretical training will begin, on March 1 technical training will take place and on the last day there will be a debate with journalists from Portuguese-speaking African countries and Portugal.<\/p>\n

The main objectives of this training are related to the need to equip journalists with tools so that they can understand the main developments and constraints in the sector, deepen knowledge about renewable energies, encourage critical analysis by journalists when covering topics related to renewable energies and create a network of journalists in the field.<\/p>\n
