Africa-Press – Cape verde. <\/strong><\/span>The winner of the elections for the office of Rector of the University of Cabo Verde (Uni-CV), Jos\u00e9 Arlindo Barreto, highlighted in statements to the press, in his first intervention after the vote, the \u201cmassive participation\u201d in the electoral process.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe data we have indicates that there was a massive vote, at least of the teachers and staff, of the students we would like there to be more participation, but I think it is an example in these times,\u201d Jos\u00e9 Arlindo Barreto told the press. He said there was a \u201cgood mobilization\u201d of people, so he and his team are \u201cvery happy\u201d with this involvement.<\/p>\n

From now on, he stressed, is working to fix the house, counting on the contribution of all to develop the institution and also make contribution to the country.<\/p>\n
