Africa-Press – Cape verde. <\/strong><\/span>Cape Verde won, this afternoon, the 24th, Guinea-Conakry by 78-70, in the 1st of three games of the last qualifying window for the 2023 basketball world cup. Tavares and Betinho stood out. Tomorrow the Hammer Tubaro\u0303es face the Angolan hosts.<\/p>\n

The national team entered the field badly, losing by 15-3 in the first period and 24-13 in the second period of the first half. However, before the break Tubaro\u0303es Azuis managed to recover and beat Guinea-Conakry by 44-37.<\/p>\n

On the way back, the game was more balanced between the two teams. In the first period of the second half, the result was 62-61 for Cape Verde.<\/p>\n

But, after a lot of effort, our selection ended up winning the game by 78-70.<\/p>\n

Angola, already tomorrow<\/p>\n

Cape Verde returns to the field tomorrow, Saturday, to face the hosts of Angola and on the 26th, close the games against Ivory Coast.<\/p>\n
