Africa-Press – Cape verde. <\/strong><\/span>The President of the Republic, Jose\u0301 Maria Neves receives, Tuesday, 2 8, in Mindelo, Sa\u0303o Vicente , the Credential Letters of 17 new ambassadors in Cape Verde , whose ceremonies will take place at the People’s Palace, in Mindelo, until Thursday , March 02.<\/p>\n

According to the Presidency of the Republic, the Head of State will receive the Letters of Credence from plenipotentiary representatives in Cape Verde from France, Russia, Portugal, Cuba, Holy See, Libya, Malaysia, Canada, Denmark, Israel, United Kingdom, Egypt, Australia, Czech Republic, Mauritania, Slovenia and Sweden.<\/p>\n

The accreditation of these new ambassadors, according to the same source, appears to be a “clear manifestation” of openness to strengthening Cape Verde’s diplomatic and cooperation relations with the respective countries.<\/p>\n

The Presidency of the Republic also refers that the reception of these Letters of Credence at the People’s Palace, in Mindelo, is part of the \u201cdetermination to decentralize the acts of the Presidency of the Republic to other regions of the country in favor of unity and national cohesion\u201d.<\/p>\n
