Africa-Press – Cape verde. <\/strong><\/span>The Minister of Communities Jorge Santos is in Switzerland, for contacts with the Cape Verdean community, in that European country, including several meetings with local and central authorities in the working visit.<\/p>\n

According to a press release, Jorge Santos intends to dialogue with the central and local authorities of that \u201cfriendly country\u201d and \u201cfind out about the major challenges existing within our countrymen\u201d, in a visit that started yesterday.<\/p>\n

As it has been doing in other diaspora countries, the objective is to \u201canalyze the integration\u201d of \u201cour communities\u201d, in general, and, in particular, to know their \u201canxieties and demands\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cEffectively, the better integration of the Cape Verdean community in the development process of Cape Verde is the focus of this trip\u201d, guarantees the guardianship.<\/p>\n

Make known facilities for investment by emigrants
\nIn addition to contacts with the community residing in that country, an important point on the
\nagenda, the minister of communities will pass on a series of pertinent information regarding tax benefits and legal instruments that facilitate investment by the Diaspora and its better integration.
\nThe program that runs until the 7th of this month also includes a
\nworking meeting with the Director General of the International Organization for Migration, Ant\u00f3nio Vitorino.<\/p>\n
