Africa-Press – Cape verde. <\/strong><\/span>The Cape Verdean Olympic Committee (COC) will launch on March 14, 500 days before the opening of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, a range of activities to promote the Games and Olympism in Cape Verde, taking place during the remaining period for the arrival of the ephemeris.<\/p>\n

Cape Verde will host for the second time the World Relay Race, \u201cTerre de Jeux\u201d where, from 9:00 am on the pedestrian street of Plateau, culminating with a set of cultural activities in Alexandre Albuquerque square, during the morning.<\/p>\n

An itinerant photo exhibition called \u201cAt the heart of Cape Verdean Olympism\u201d will also be launched, with the aim of showing the country the various participations of Cape Verde in the biggest sporting event in the world.<\/p>\n

The exhibition will be on display at Pala\u0301cio Ildo Lobo, until April 4th, and according to the COC, the intention is to take it to other parts of the country.<\/p>\n

\u201cThese participations by Cape Verde have always been supported by the national fans, so in each photo there will be a testimony of people and their support for the next Olympic Games\u201d reads in the statement.<\/p>\n

The 500-day celebrations for the Paris Olympic Games are a partnership between the Cape Verdean Olympic Committee and the French Embassy in Cape Verde.<\/p>\n
