Hendrick Lopes promises to do his best in this new aquatic sport, even if he finds this competition entertaining.<\/p>\n

It’s just that his great passion is kitesurfing, a modality that he said he dedicates himself to a lot this season.<\/p>\n

Cited by Inforpress, the athlete said that he is prepared to do his best in the wing-foil qualifying tests, which start today, stressing that he feels happy with his fans.<\/p>\n

However, he admitted, however, that he felt \u201cvery pressured\u201d throughout the kitesurfing race, by his fans and that, from now on, he has to work harder and control his emotions.<\/p>\n

He addressed a message of gratitude to fans and admirers, stating that this year he could not be on the podium of the Kitesurf World Cup, but that he will do his best to try to reach the top places in the wing-foli world championship.<\/p>\n

As for the future of water sports in Cape Verde, he said that the way the World Cup is being organized leads him to believe that “everything is going in the right direction”, hoping, however, that Cape Verdean athletes will be “more supported and rewarded\u201d.<\/p>\n
