Africa-Press – Cape verde. <\/strong><\/span>Forty-three beneficiaries of the Social and Productive Inclusion Project in the Municipality of Sa\u0303o Filipe, Fogo, received today, 21, at the Municipal Assembly, their business reinforcement kits in the areas of livestock, agriculture, small businesses, aesthetics, bakery\/pastry.<\/p>\n

The delivery will be made by the Minister of Family, Inclusion and Social Development, Fernando Eli\u0301sio Freire.<\/p>\n

According to a press release, in addition to the kits, the beneficiaries previously participated in a training course in small business management and entrepreneurship, financial education and social skills, giving them tools for better management of their businesses.<\/p>\n

After the delivery of the kits, the minister is scheduled to visit some project beneficiaries who already have their businesses in progress.<\/p>\n

Social and Productive Inclusion Project<\/p>\n

The Social and Productive Inclusion Project, financed by the World Bank, will benefit two thousand families out of the four thousand and five hundred families benefiting from the Social Inclusion Income (RSI).<\/p>\n

The Productive Inclusion program aims to reduce the vulnerabilities of families, helping them to build paths towards their autonomy, the Ministry of Family, Inclusion and Social Development, has ongoing training in income-generating activities, namely small business management, entrepreneurship, financial education and social skills in nine municipalities in the country.<\/p>\n

According to the same source, to date, of the 2000 families selected for Productive Inclusion, in the municipalities of Santa Catarina de Santiago, Sa\u0303o Salvador do Mundo, Calheta de Sa\u0303o Miguel, Santa Cruz, Praia, Sa\u0303o Filipe do Fogo, Sa\u0303o Vicente, Ribeira Grande de Santo Anta\u0303o and Porto Novo, 1756 families completed the training and 841 families have already received business support kits.<\/p>\n

In the municipality of Sa\u0303o Filipe alone, a total of 227 families are benefiting from the Social Inclusion project, the Productive Inclusion component.<\/p>\n
