Africa-Press – Cape verde. <\/strong><\/span>The Government has decreed two days of national mourning (April 3 and 4) in memory of the seven soldiers who died in the accident that happened this afternoon, on the Guindon road, in the municipality of Tarrafal of Santiago.<\/p>\n

\u201cCape Verde is in mourning for the number of military victims of the accident with an Armed Forces vehicle on the way to Serra da Malagueta, where a fire broke out\u201d, wrote Prime Minister Ulisses Correia e Silva on his Facebook page.<\/p>\n

The Head of Government said that he is monitoring this tragic situation and, on behalf of the Government of Cape Verde, expressed total solidarity with the family members and the Armed Forces of Cape Verde.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur concerns and wishes for the recovery of the injured, some in a serious condition, including an employee of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment\u201d, reads the publication.<\/p>\n
