Africa-Press – Cape verde. <\/strong><\/span>The Cape Verde national football championship, 2022\/23, kicks off this weekend, with three games on Saturday and as many on Sunday, according to the Cape Verdean Football Federation.<\/p>\n

For Saturday, the 22nd, Mindelense will receive at the Esta\u0301dio Municipal Ade\u0301rito Sena, in Sa\u0303o Vicente, its counterpart from Santo Crucifixo, from Santo Anta\u0303o Norte, counting for Group A.<\/p>\n

The formation of Palmeira, regional champion of Sal, hosts Belo Horizonte, from Sa\u0303o Nicolau, at Esta\u0301dio Marcelo Leita\u0303o, in Espargos.<\/p>\n

Also on Saturday is scheduled the clash between Sanjoanense, champion of Santo Anta\u0303o Sul, and Vulca\u0302nico, winner of the Fogo regional, in a match to be played at Esta\u0301dio Municipal Porto Novo.<\/p>\n

Acade\u0301mica do Mindelo , defending champion, plays on Sunday<\/p>\n

On Sunday, the 23rd, Juventude do Norte, regional champions from Boa Vista, will receive at the Municipal Arse\u0301nio Ramos, their counterpart from Travadores, winners of the Santiago Sul regional, Morabeza da Brava will be visited by the title champions from Acade\u0301mica do Mindelo, at Esta\u0301dio Aquiles d’Oliveira, while Figueirense do Maio receives a visit from Varandinha in Santiago Norte.<\/p>\n

According to the schedule, the regional champion teams of Sa\u0303o Vicente (Mindelense), Santo Anta\u0303o Norte (Santo Crucifixo), Boa Vista (Juventude do Norte) and Santiago Sul (Clube Desportivo Travadores), share Group A.<\/p>\n
