Africa-Press – Cape verde. <\/strong><\/span>The World Bank Director for Cape Verde, Keiko Miwa, said today in Boa Vista that Cape Verde\u2019s success will be a \u201cgood example\u201d to be shared and inspiring for other countries, particularly African ones.<\/p>\n

Keiko Miwa spoke at the opening of the International Partners Conference, promoted by the Government with the objective of mobilizing resources for the implementation of the Sustainable Development Strategic Plan (PEDS II \u2013 2022\/26).<\/p>\n

A document that, as she advanced, arrives at a key moment, when many countries, like Cape Verde, have been affected by the multiple crises of recent years with very serious impacts on small island economies, such as the archipelago.<\/p>\n

\u201cHowever, the Cape Verdean government tends to turn the crisis into opportunities consolidating past reforms,\u201d emphasized the World Bank representative.<\/p>\n
