According to a press release, the high point of the mission is the signing of a memorandum of understanding, aimed at strengthening technical cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Cabo Verde and the Government of the Republic of Guinea Bissau, in the areas of Labour and Social Security, which may be extended to other sectors of mutual interest.<\/p>\n

According to the statement, the memorandum will enable cooperation actions to be carried out in the specific areas of exchanging experiences through Study Visits and Technical Assistance, and short-term practical internships in different organisational structures.<\/p>\n

The following areas are also contemplated: training to reinforce technical capacity in different areas, formulation of projects and proposals to attract financial resources and others available to Member States of the CPLP and ECOWAS, promotion and organisation of seminars, workshops, conferences, studies and joint projects, among other actions.<\/p>\n
