With this victory, the second in the National Football Championship, the Brave team consolidates its position as leader of group C.<\/p>\n

In this game counting for the third round of group C of the National Football Championship, played at Esta\u0301dio Aquiles Oliveira, in the City of Nova Cintra, Ilha Brava, the winning goal came in the second half through Te\u0301o.<\/p>\n

At halftime, the two teams were tied at zero, with Morabeza having the best goal opportunity through a ball on the bar defended by Figueirense.<\/p>\n

Morabeza consolidates leadership of group C with seven points<\/p>\n

With today’s victory, the Morabeza team reinforces the leadership of group C with seven points, after having beaten Acade\u0301mica do Mindelo by 2-1 in the first round of the National Football Championship, played on 21 April, at Esta\u0301dio Aquiles da ‘Oliveira, in the city of Nova Cintra, Ilha Brava, and the 1-1 tie with Varandinha do Tarrafal de Santiago, in a match for the second round, on April 29, at Esta\u0301dio da Cidade do Tarrafal, Ilha de Santiago.<\/p>\n

The other group C game will be played on Sunday the 14th between Acade\u0301mica do Mindelo, which defends the title of champion of Cape Verde won last season (2021-2022) and Varandinha do Tarrafal de Santiago, two-time regional champion of football in Santiago Norte.<\/p>\n
