Africa-Press – Cape verde. <\/strong><\/span>The residents of the locality of Fragata, in the municipality of Tarrafal, Sa\u0303o Nicolau, consider that the inauguration of the road that connects Ribeira da Prata to Fragata, represents the \u201crealization of a dream of several generations.<\/p>\n

Speaking to the press, after the inauguration of that road, which took place on Tuesday, the president of the Fragata Community Association, Silvino Brito, said that the locality has been suffering from the rural exodus and hopes that the road to clear the road would help combat this problem<\/p>\n

\u201cFragata has been one of the localities that has suffered most from rural exodus, due to the lack of roads and access to telecommunications, now with this road we hope that this problem will be combated,\u201d said Silvino Brito.<\/p>\n

According to him, Fragata is an area with \u201cstrong potential\u201d in agriculture as well as in nature tourism and this road will contribute to its development.<\/p>\n
