In an interview with Inforpress, the official assured that the country is \u201cwell served\u201d in terms of telecommunications, despite some complaints, noting that at the moment, Cabo Verde is in the top places on the African continent in terms of access to telecommunications and that in terms of penetration of the Internet access service stands at around 84 accesses per 100 inhabitants, double the African average and 20% of the world average.<\/p>\n

He also advanced that according to the report by the Multisectoral Regulatory Agency for the Economy (ARME), in the fourth quarter of 2022, the mobile phone coverage rate was 103%.
