Africa-Press – Cape verde. <\/strong><\/span>The Minister of Family, Inclusion and Social Development, Fernando Eli\u0301sio Freire, reaffirmed today that the Government of Cabo Verde has been doing work focused on solving problems that affect people, particularly families<\/p>\n

Fernando Eli\u0301sio Freire made this statement to the press, on the sidelines of the reflection workshop on the topic: \u201cFamily and the challenges of parenthood\u201d, held this morning at the Hotel and Tourism School, with the purpose of discussing responsible maternity and paternity.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is important to reflect on the family and the theme of this year is relevant because it is the great problem of our families and the country. In Cabo Verde, most of the family has a mother and a child, so we have to make policies that reach these families, at various levels, despite the difficult situation imposed on us by covid-19 and now with the war\u201d, He said.<\/p>\n

In this context, he added that the Government has been working in the various areas in which the family must have dignity, such as in the case of income and housing, in cultivating good neighborly relationships and social capital, also pointing to maternity and paternity leave as examples of good executive decision.<\/p>\n
