Africa-Press – Cape verde. <\/strong><\/span>The Morabeza da Brava team won, this Friday, at the Aquiles d’Oliveira Stadium, in the city of Nova Sinta, island of Brava, against Travadores, da Praia, by 2-1. The collective thus achieved the unprecedented qualification for the \u201cFinal Four\u201d of the Cape Verde Cup in football.<\/p>\n

In a game counting for the second round of the competition, the two teams ended the first half with a 1-1 draw, with goals from Kenny for the bravens and Se\u0301rgio for the red formation of the capital.<\/p>\n

The winning goal for Morabeza, who played half of the second half with 10 players, was scored in the 87th minute, by Steve, converting a penalty, punishing a hand on the ball by a red defender.<\/p>\n

Travadores, who hold the title, are therefore eliminated from the Cape Verde Cup.<\/p>\n

This weekend’s games<\/p>\n

According to the schedule, this Saturday, at Esta\u0301dio Joa\u0303o Serra, in the city of Ponta de Sol, in Santo Anta\u0303o, the Santo Crucifixo faces Palmeira, do Sal.<\/p>\n

On Sunday, Acade\u0301mica do Porto Novo receives Acade\u0301mica do Mindelo, at the Municipal Stadium in Porto Novo.<\/p>\n

In turn, Barreirense will host Acade\u0301mica do Fogo tomorrow, Sunday 28th, in a match to be played at Esta\u0301dio Dau d’Segunda, in the city of Porto Ingle\u0302s, on the island of Maio.<\/p>\n

According to the regulations, the four winning teams in this tie qualify for the \u201cFinal Four\u201d of the Cape Verde Cup, 2022\/23 edition, an event that will take place at the Ade\u0301rito Sena Stadium, in Sa\u0303o Vicente.<\/p>\n

With the return of the Cape Verde Cup, the fifth and penultimate round of the national championship, also this season, will only be played the following week.<\/p>\n
