Joana Rosa asked for everyone\u2019s reflection and intervention to break with this situation in which parents abuse and kill their own children.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is a very sad case and it is time for all of us to reflect, because I think it is necessary to reflect. The child is supposed to be in the bosom of the family and have protection, but we are seeing that families are not protecting their children\u201d, said the minister.<\/p>\n

The minister, who was speaking to journalists on the sidelines of the opening ceremony of the training of new prison officers, underlined that it is the responsibility of the father, mother, siblings, grandparents and neighbors to protect children.<\/p>\n
