Africa-Press – Cape verde. <\/strong><\/span>The University of Santiago (US) of Santa Catarina is the representative of Santiago Norte in the national senior women\u2019s handball championship, after winning on Tuesday night, the first regional championship title of the sport.<\/p>\n

To win this triumph, the US beat the Tarrafalense team Graciosa by 28 to 22, in the play-off final game, played at the Tarrafal sports pavilion.<\/p>\n

The Cabo Verde women\u2019s handball national championship will take place from 12 to 18 June at the Vava Duarte Pavilion in the city of Praia.<\/p>\n
