Africa-Press – Cape verde. <\/strong><\/span>The Government, through the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Energy, will sign today, Thursday, at 3 pm, in the conference room of the said ministry, the concession contract for the installation, operation and exploitation of 40 public charging stations for electric vehicles in all islands of the country.<\/p>\n

The contract will be signed with the company Trac\u0327o\u0303es Ele\u0301tricas de Cabo Verde, a unipessoal company, SA, winner of the public tender within the scope of the Electric Mobility Promotion project (ProMEC) of the Government of Cape Verde.<\/p>\n

The contract has a duration of seven years and the value of public investment in the project is budgeted at around thirty thousand escudos and is funded by the Mitigation Action Facility.<\/p>\n

According to a press release, this is another \u201cimportant step\u201d in the implementation of the Electric Mobility Policy Charter and the Government\u2019s goals in the process of decarbonizing transport by 2050.<\/p>\n
