Africa-Press – Cape verde. <\/strong><\/span>Euclides Andrade, \u201cCle\u0301\u201d, 25 years old, born on the island of Santiago, was elected, in a choice made by the Puro Futebol team captains, to be part of the best attack in the 2022\/23 edition of Liga 3. Belenenses, who next year will play in the II Portuguese Football League.<\/p>\n

The Cape Verdean international, who recently received the \u201cPuro Destaque\u201d award, player with the most \u201cMan of the Game\u201d awards (he added five \u201cMan of the Game\u201d awards in Liga 3 with the Os Belenenses jersey, three of which in the 1st stage that led him to the award), he stood out in the 2022\/23 season, helping Os Belenenses to return to the II Portuguese football league.<\/p>\n

Cle\u0301 is among those called up for the \u201cAA\u201d National Team for the friendly game against Morocco, on June 12, in Rabat, in preparation for the fifth, and penultimate, qualifying round for CAN 2023, which will be against Burkina Faso, the June 18th.<\/p>\n

A star player forever<\/p>\n

Born in Cancelo, in Santa Cruz, in the interior of Santiago, Cle\u0301 was discovered by Professor Ambro\u0301sio, from Esperanc\u0327a de Calheta, to the world of football.<\/p>\n

Cle\u0301 is a Cape Verdean international for the youth teams (under-19 and under-20) and was in the combined resident players in the qualifying round games for CAN’2020.<\/p>\n

In 2021, he was called up by the Bubista coach for the 2022 World Cup qualifiers against Liberia, but was not used.<\/p>\n

From Calheta, he had to move to the municipality of Tarrafal to represent Beira-Mar, in the North Santiago Regional, where, in his first season, he scored 15 goals.<\/p>\n

But before that, he had already been noticed when he won the title of top scorer for the under-17s, in Santiago Sul.<\/p>\n

Considered the best under-19 player, when he won the Cape Verde Championship with Esperanc\u0327a da Calheta, Cle\u0301 was signed by Boavista and in his first appearance for the capital club he was elected top scorer in the European Cup.<\/p>\n
