Africa-Press – Cape verde. <\/strong><\/span>The communities of emigrants from the municipality of Porto Novo, in Santo Anta\u0303o, are getting involved in the mobilisation of support and partnerships with a view to building the main church of this municipality.<\/p>\n

This is the case of the No\u0301s Sintanton (Our Santo Antao) Association, based in Rome, Italy, which, according to one of its representatives, Ca\u0302ndida Esteva\u0303o, will mobilise support among its associates and the entire diaspora to build the church.<\/p>\n

This association, which has over 300 members, is one of several \u201cgoodwill ambassadors\u201d invested on Saturday by the bishop of Mindelo Diocese, D. Ildo Fortes, to \u201cmobilise support\u201d for the construction of Porto Novo\u2019s mother church.<\/p>\n

Also, associations of emigrants in France are mobilizing with a view to building the church, as Inforpress found.<\/p>\n
