Africa-Press – Cape verde. <\/strong><\/span>The president of the National Service of Civil Protection and Firefighters (SNPCB), Domingos Tavares, said today that the SNPCB is already prepared at the national level to deal with situations of abnormality that occur during the rainy season that get closer.<\/p>\n

In an interview with Inforpress, Domingos Tavares made it known that all city councils in the country, the regional commanders, have already received a notification of the national and municipal plans that this entity has for this year, for the preparation and prevention of rains.<\/p>\n

He mentioned, however, that the actions on the ground are already being carried out by the municipal services, with regard to awareness-raising work, and that the SNPCB will soon be making this publicity and awareness-raising to the population through the media.<\/p>\n

The head of the SNPCB assured that they have already started with preventive measures, especially for people who live in risk areas subject to flooding and slopes, so that they are always alert in this regard.<\/p>\n
