Africa-Press – Cape verde. <\/strong><\/span>This Tuesday, July 11th, in the city of Praia, the Dretu Foundation is launched. It is an initiative of the First Lady of Cape Verde De\u0301bora Katisa Carvalho.<\/p>\n

A Fundac\u0327a\u0303o Dretu, anunciada em fevereiro deste ano, foi oficialmente criada no me\u0302s de maio u\u0301ltimo e visa contribuir para promover a educac\u0327a\u0303o para a cidadania, a paz, a justic\u0327a, e o bem comum, enquanto suporte fundamental para o desenvolvimento harmonioso da crianc\u0327a, do jovem e do idoso, bem como das suas fami\u0301lias.<\/p>\n

Other valences of the Foundation are the promotion of environmental protection and environmental education, as well as the promotion, development and support of initiatives of a social nature in the fields of charity and social solidarity.<\/p>\n

Collaborations<\/p>\n

The Dretu Foundation, a non-profit organization, will work closely with local and international partners, civil society organizations and institutions to achieve its objectives and implement structuring projects that reflect the commitment of the citizen and First Lady, De\u0301bora Katisa Carvalho .<\/p>\n

The presentation will take place at 5:30 pm at the Hotel Pestana Tro\u0301pico, in Cidade da Praia.<\/p>\n
