Africa-Press – Cape verde. <\/strong><\/span>The mayor of Tarrafal de Sa\u0303o Nicolau, Jose\u0301 Freitas, presented this Saturday, 15th, the program for the 180 anniversary of the municipality, which includes a set of sports, cultural activities and inaugurations.<\/p>\n

In a press conference, given for the presentation of the program of the 18th anniversary of the municipality, which will be marked on August 2nd, mayor Jose\u0301 Freitas highlighted the holding of the first municipal youth assembly, in addition to several inaugurations that are also planned.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn Praia Branca, we have planned the delivery of two houses and also the inauguration of the artistic promenade of Casa da morna, in Hortela\u0303 and Marel Pintod we have also foreseen the inauguration of urban requalification works\u201d, revealed the mayor quoted by Inforpress.<\/p>\n

On a sporting level, Freitas said that the Futsal Cup, the non-federal championship and athletics, cycling and street basketball competitions are taking place in the municipality.<\/p>\n

Also within the scope of the 18th anniversary celebrations of Tarrafal de Sa\u0303o Nicolau, another edition of the Atum festival and the Praia Tedja music festival is planned.<\/p>\n

As for the development of Tarrafal, Jose\u0301 Freitas says that its creation in recent years \u201cwas worth it\u201d.<\/p>\n
