Africa-Press – Cape verde. <\/strong><\/span>The Ministry of the Sea will finance, with 272,000 escudos, the 7th edition of the nine-mile crossing by board and rowing on the Sa\u0303o Vicente \u2013 Santo Anta\u0303o channel, budgeted at 427,000 escudos. The event takes place on the 5th of August.<\/p>\n

According to Inforpress, the financing contract was initialed between the executive manager of the Autonomous Fund for the Development and Security of Maritime Transport ( FADSTM), Cilene Sena Santos, and by the president of Associac\u0327a\u0303o Remar, Equili\u0301brio, Motivac\u0327a\u0303o, Eficie\u0302ncia X (REMEX), Anibal Delgado.<\/p>\n

This is funding that provides technical and financial support to the initiative, as guaranteed by the Minister of the Sea, on the 14th, when he met with the association’s management.<\/p>\n

11 athletes in competition<\/p>\n

The 7th edition of the Sa\u0303o Vicente \u2013 Santo Anta\u0303o rowing and plank crossing, of nine nautical miles, takes place on the 5th of August , in honor of the pioneering institutions of the race.<\/p>\n

This year, the event will bring together 11 athletes who will start from Lajinha beach, towards the finish line at Armaze\u0301m beach, in the city of Porto Novo.<\/p>\n
