Africa-Press – Cape verde. <\/strong><\/span>The Municipality of Tarrafal de Sa\u0303o Nicolau launched the project for the electrification of the Cacimba area, as part of the program for the 18th anniversary of the municipality, which is celebrated on August 2nd.<\/p>\n

Speaking to the press, the mayor of Tarrafal, Jose\u0301 Freitas, stated that the objective is to provide this expansion area of the city of Tarrafal with electricity. \u201ca basic necessity\u201d in current times.<\/p>\n

The project, he said, is the result of a partnership with the public electricity generation and distribution company (Electra) and is budgeted at \u201cmore than five thousand escudos\u201d.<\/p>\n

Of this amount, the municipality contributes with the placement of all the poles and Electra with the creation of the electricity network.<\/p>\n
