Africa-Press – Cape verde. <\/strong><\/span>Shareholders of the Intermunicipal Water Company, A\u0301guabrava, are meeting today in the city of Sa\u0303o Filipe in a general assembly to analyse the possibility of bottling water and the election of new governing bodies of the company.<\/p>\n

On Thursday, A\u0301guabrava\u2019s board of directors met to analyse the accounts for 2022 and the activity plan and budget for 2023, which, according to the chairman of the board of directors, Nui\u0301as Silva, will be submitted to the general assembly for approval.<\/p>\n

During the general meeting other issues will be analysed that have to do with the life of the company, such as the new project for the bottling of water by A\u0301guabrava, but also the possibility of it taking over the tasks related to rubbish collection, through the creation of a sanitation department within A\u0301guabrava.<\/p>\n

Nui\u0301as Silva said that this issue is one of the competences that has been foreseen since the creation of A\u0301guabrava and that it is not being executed and in this general meeting the shareholders, who are the municipalities of Brava, Mosteiros, Santa Catarina do Fogo and Sa\u0303o Filipe, will analyse and define the next steps for its implementation and therefore today\u2019s meeting will not leave any resolution of execution immediately<\/p>\n
