According to the author, in statements to journalists, after the launch of the book, the problem with alcoholism can happen to anyone, hence this book show how to work with children from a young age to draw attention to early prevention of alcoholism.<\/p>\n

The book portrays, according to the author, a family whose father was an alcoholic, which directly affected the life of his son, who also followed his ways, despite being a child, attended primary school, had low educational achievement, but who, thanks to the support of his teacher, through complaints from his colleagues, was saved, he and his family from this evil that affects many other children in Cabo Verdean society and not only.<\/p>\n

For Marilene Pereira, alcoholism is a difficult topic to deal with because no one takes over, victims are a laughing stock, she said, adding that it is an offense, in addition to the child\u2019s own problem at home, is reinforced \u201cby laughing stock.\u201d<\/p>\n
