Africa-Press – Cape verde. <\/strong><\/span>The president of the Popular Party (PP), Ama\u0302ndio Vicente, said today that his party \u201cis still active\u201d even though it does not appear in the media, stating that the PP has \u201ca new work strategy\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis party now has a new work strategy, due to the constraints inherent to its operation, namely the lack of resources to pay the rent of a headquarters, which has made it difficult for the PP leaders to meet in person\u201d, said the politician.<\/p>\n

Ama\u0302ndio Vicente was speaking to Inforpress following the noted absence of the PP\u2019s press conferences, which were once fortnightly.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis party still exists, because it\u2019s not dead and it\u2019s not going to end, because the PP was founded not to take advantage of politics, but to serve the citizen as a voluntary and patriotic option,\u201d emphasised Ama\u0302ndio Vicente.<\/p>\n
