Africa-Press – Cape verde. <\/strong><\/span>The head of the municipal sector of Civil Protection and Firefighters on the island of Brava, Anto\u0301nio Lopes, said on Thursday that the rain that fell on the island on Wednesday did not cause any damage and called on the population to remain calm.<\/p>\n

Speaking to Inforpress, Anto\u0301nio Lopes pointed out that after the rain forecast was announced, the team went on alert and made rounds of the locations considered \u201cmost critical\u201d at this time of year, but there were no incidents resulting from the rainfall.<\/p>\n
