Africa-Press – Cape verde. <\/strong><\/span>Portuguese coach Anto\u0301nio Santos intends to leave his \u201cmark\u201d in Cape Verdean handball and points to the improvement of infrastructure as \u201cessential\u201d for the technical development of athletes.<\/p>\n

Anto\u0301nio Santos, who is one of the mentors of the Tarrafal Cup International Handball Tournament, has been working with Grupo Desportivo Varandinha for six years to promote handball in Tarrafal de Santiago and Cabo Verde, helping to train players and coaches.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m a collaborator interested in helping and I\u2019m trying to leave a mark on Cape Verdean handball\u201d, pointed out the \u2018master coach\u2019, which is the highest level of coaches at the International Handball Federation (IHF).<\/p>\n
