Maria da Luz Lima was responding to journalists, when asked to react to some cases of suicides in children and adolescents that have occurred in Cabo Verde, as part of the webinar celebrating World Suicide Day, marked on the 10th of this month.<\/p>\n

\u201cObviously, in-depth studies must be carried out to understand the causes, but there is also a lot of work that we have to do with families, above all, and with the community, and the church itself, which also has a very important role in this regard\u201d , She stated.<\/p>\n

In her view, this approach should also be carried out in schools, with teachers, due to the close relationship with children.<\/p>\n
