Africa-Press – Cape verde. <\/strong><\/span>On the 29th of September, the island of Santo Anta\u0303o hosts an international conference on nature tourism, which will take place under the theme \u201cGreen investments as a path to sustainable tourism\u201d.<\/p>\n

The conference, according to a press release issued today by the City Council of Porto Novo, is organised by the government, in partnership with the city councils of Santo Anta\u0303o, and will be a space for \u201creflection, debate and presentation of nature tourism models\u201d in different contexts and parts of the world, through the sharing of \u201cideas, experiences and good practices\u201d.<\/p>\n

For the Porto Novo council, the conference, which celebrates World Tourism Day, which is celebrated on September 27th, \u201cwill undoubtedly be an opportunity to project our island\u201d of Santo Anta\u0303o.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe orographic uniqueness of Santo Anta\u0303o Island, associated with the exuberance of the landscape, offers suitable conditions for the practice of sustainable tourism, which maintains a strong relationship with nature\u201d, reads the note from the municipality.<\/p>\n
