Africa-Press – Cape verde. <\/strong><\/span>The chairman of the Board of Directors of SolAtlantico, Henrique Duarte, stressed the importance to invest in the training and integration of women and supervisors in the network of the company bus driver in Praia.<\/p>\n

This responsible person spoke to journalists on the sidelines of the closing ceremony for the training of nine women who from now on become part of the group of drivers and public transport supervisors in the city of Praia in that private company.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis was an old idea that is only now materialized, not because there was a problem on our side, but because of problems, difficulties inherent to the women in Cabo Verde, but the company wants to signal that we are focused, we are aware that women can make their contribution to the SolAtlantico\u201d, he said.<\/p>\n

As he explained, the project initially outlined was for the completion of about 20 women, but for various reasons, the fact that many women did not present the minimum conditions for their completion, just nine of them finished the training successfully.<\/p>\n
