Africa-Press – Cape verde. <\/strong><\/span>The prices of imported products registered a drop of 0.3 percent (%) in August 2023, a value lower by 2.4 percentage points (p.p) compared to the previous month, revealed today the National Institute of Statistics (INE).<\/p>\n

According to the institute, the monthly rate of change in the prices of exported products stood at 1.2 % in August 2023, 1.8 percentage points higher than the previous month.<\/p>\n

The monthly variation rate recorded by the Terms of Trade Index was 1.4% according to the same source, with an increase of 4.1 percentage points compared to the previous month.<\/p>\n

The INE said that the import price index stood at 137.6, having registered a decrease of 0.3% compared to the previous month.<\/p>\n
