Africa-Press – Cape verde. <\/strong><\/span>To celebrate World Pharmacists Day in 2023, the Order of Pharmacists of Cape Verde (OFCV) is promoting, this Monday, the 25th, a Round Table with the theme \u201cWays to strengthen health systems\u201d. The initiative takes place from 4pm, at the headquarters of the Order of Engineers of Cape Verde, in Palmarejo, Praia.<\/p>\n

According to information provided by this organization, the event is aimed at pharmaceutical professionals and pharmacy technicians who work in Cape Verde and aims to bring together professionals who practice the pharmaceutical profession in Cape Verde.<\/p>\n

Another objective is to challenge them to reflect on the topic and promote a debate on the challenges and achievements of the profession, as well as the importance of pharmacists in strengthening health systems.<\/p>\n

Greater awareness<\/p>\n

World Pharmacists Day, celebrated on September 25th, is the date established by the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP), with the aim of promoting the pharmaceutical profession in the world and bringing together professionals from different areas of activity.<\/p>\n

For this year’s celebration, FIP announced the theme \u201cPharmacy: Strengthening Health Systems\u201d, with the aim of highlighting the contribution of the pharmaceutical profession to strengthening health systems by increasing pharmacists’ awareness as a \u201csmart solution\u201d. .<\/p>\n

The pharmacy, highlights the OFCV, is \u201cessential for access to health and for a safe supply chain and responsible use of medicines\u201d, especially at the current time, when health systems seek to establish urgent and necessary actions so that services health services meet future needs.<\/p>\n
