Fernando Eli\u0301sio Freire made these remarks in statements to the press on the sidelines of the opening ceremony of the seminar on \u201cThe Importance of Statistics of Social Protection: A seminar for public institutions, social partners, academia, journalists and representatives of civil society\u201d, as part of the implementation of the ACTION\/Portugal project of the International Labour Organisation (ILO).<\/p>\n

According to the government official, the statistics make it possible to assess gains and aspects that still need to be improved, ensuring that the Government of Cabo Verde is aligned with international objectives, with the national commitment to universalizing the social protection service. as something that is fundamental to the dignity of the human person.<\/p>\n
