Africa-Press – Cape verde. <\/strong><\/span>The Fogo Solida\u0301rio Association (Afosol) has mobilised 1,600 escudos from its partners to implement a project in the fishing sector in the municipality of Mosteiros, which will be supported by the city council.<\/p>\n

The president of the board of directors of this non-governmental organization, Euge\u0301nio Veiga, said that in addition to this project in the sector of fisheries, there is another micro-project for raising pigs and chickens in one of the towns in Sa\u0303o Lourenc\u0327o.<\/p>\n

The two projects are being implemented with the support of the German and US embassies in Cape Verde, institutions that have previously financed other projects presented by Afosol in the fisheries, livestock and water supply sectors.<\/p>\n

The head of Afosol said that the process of fibreglassing an open-mouthed fishing boat is currently underway in the City of Cova Figueira, in the municipality of Santa Catarina.<\/p>\n
