The regional event will take place on Wednesday and Thursday, in Praia, alongside a fair dedicated to the sector with 94 exhibition stands, an area dedicated to electric cars and three meeting rooms.<\/p>\n

Omar Alieu Touray lands in Praia today and the public program starts on Wednesday, being received by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and Regional Integration, Rui Figueiredo Soares.<\/p>\n

On the same day, the president of the ECOWAS commission will meet with the Cape Verdean prime minister, Ulisses Correia e Silva, with whom he will unveil the plaque for the new headquarters of the ECOWAS Center for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency.<\/p>\n

The center has been operating since 2010, in Praia, and will have new facilities.<\/p>\n

Omar Alieu Touray speaks, on Thursday, at the official opening ceremony of the 8th ECOWAS Sustainable Energy Forum, at the National Assembly.<\/p>\n

Still on Thursday, the regional leader will deliver humanitarian aid to the Cape Verdean Government and end the public program with a courtesy visit to the President of the Republic, Jose\u0301 Maria Neves.<\/p>\n
