Africa-Press – Cape verde. <\/strong><\/span>Ponte Sul\/Cha\u0303 de Mato, Porto Novo, will, from today onwards, have a community library, installed within the scope of the \u201cVOA\u0301 MA MIM\u201d (fly with me) project, which consists of the creation of community libraries in Santo Anta\u0303o.<\/p>\n

This project is part of an existing partnership between Porto Novo City Council, Associac\u0327a\u0303o Junt’amor (Portugal) and Associac\u0327a\u0303o Litera\u0301ria de Santo Anta\u0303o and foresees, later this year, the installation of four community libraries on this island.<\/p>\n

A note from the Porto-Novense city council explains that the \u201cVOA\u0301 MA MIM\u201d project, which aims to create community libraries in Santo Anta\u0303o, was \u201cdesigned and developed\u201d by the Junt’amor association \u201cas a means of promoting reading for everyone\u201d, on this island.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe idea is to create small structures on public roads, and in central locations, in order to have interaction and easy access to the book\u201d, said the same source.<\/p>\n

As part of this project, the city of Porto Novo started to have its community library since the beginning of September, followed by the town of Ponte Sul\/Cha\u0303 de Mato, with the remaining two libraries being installed in Paul and Ribeira Big.<\/p>\n
