Africa-Press – Cape verde. <\/strong><\/span>The Sa\u0303o Joa\u0303o Baptista football school, in Santo Anta\u0303o Sul, has trained a total of 1,260 players since its creation in 2004, thus contributing to the development of football in this sporting region and in Cape Verde.<\/p>\n

The information was provided to Inforpress today by the coordinator of the Sa\u0303o Joa\u0303o Baptista football school, Ami\u0301lcar Napolea\u0303o, who informed that, after a year of interruption, this sports initiation school is ready to resume activities at different levels.<\/p>\n

Ami\u0301lcar Napolea\u0303o, who was recently honored by the sports association Porto Novo Basket, for his contribution to sport in Santos for decades, said that this school has everything in place to restart training, starting this Saturday, 4th.<\/p>\n

Created in 2004 and made official in 2005, the Sa\u0303o Joa\u0303o Baptista football school has \u201cdozens\u201d of athletes from under-10 to under-17 levels, and in 2015, during a sports gala, it was highlighted by the City Council do Porto Novo, for its action in favor of sport in this municipality.<\/p>\n

There are close to a dozen football schools in the Santo Anta\u0303o Sul sports region, notably the Sa\u0303o Joa\u0303o Baptista, Rildo Tavares, Fiorentina, Dminguim and Academia de Futebol schools.<\/p>\n
