Speaking to the media, M\u00e1rio Soares said that this measure is within the current framework of seismic activity in Brava and also explained that contingency is a set of measures to be adopted in the event of a worsening of the situation.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe hope that there will be no worsening and fortunately in recent days we have been calmer, without earthquakes or perhaps with such low intensity that it is not possible to notice\u201d, he stressed.<\/p>\n

According to the same source, the Civil Protection delegate for the Fogo and Brava region has been in the municipality since the weekend and, together with municipal services, has been surveying risk areas and reassuring the population, passing \u201ccredible\u201d information.<\/p>\n

\u201cUnfortunately, there is still some ‘fake news’ that has been circulating on social media, but it is important that we transmit credible information so that people can be equipped with information and guidance on what can be done\u201d, he highlighted.<\/p>\n
