Africa-Press – Cape verde. <\/strong><\/span>The Belo Horizonte team won the Sa\u0303o Nicolau Super Cup in football today, beating AJAT-SN, 2-1, in a game held at the Orlando Rodrigues Stadium, in Tarrafal.<\/p>\n

The game, which opened the 2023\/2024 football season in Sa\u0303o Nicolau, and which brought a large crowd to the stadium, was played between the defending regional champion team, Belo Horizonte, the holder of the Sa\u0303o Nicolau Cup, AJAT-SN.<\/p>\n

The game was played at a high pace with both teams showing a desire to win, however, the AJAT-SN team showed a slight rise in the first half, in which they opened the scoring in the 42nd minute, a goal scored by midfielder Riky, a result at halftime.<\/p>\n

The second half started at the same pace as the teams went into the break, however, in the 58th minute, the AJAT-SN goalkeeper was sent off for playing the ball with his hands outside the penalty area.<\/p>\n

Even with an extra man, Juncalinho’s team was unable to demonstrate superiority to their opponent, but when everything predicted victory for the AJAT-SN team, in added time, at 90+2, of the six awarded by the referee, the forward Cadi tied the match.<\/p>\n

With the goal scored, Belo Horizonte gained new energy and, in the 90+4 minute, Salvio sentenced the game by scoring the 2-1 and sending the fans of the Juncalinho team into delirium, who were present in good numbers at the stadium.<\/p>\n

At the end of the match, Belo Horizonte’s coach, Dionizio Rodrigues, was satisfied with winning the unprecedented title and stated that his team was a \u201cfair winner\u201d.<\/p>\n

The coach of the AJAT-SN team, Airton Pereira, had a contrary opinion, who stated that his team played \u201ca great game\u201d and was the only one that deserved to win. The Week with Inforpress<\/p>\n
