Africa-Press – Cape verde. <\/strong><\/span>The president of the National Civil Protection and Fire Service (SNPCB), Domingos Tavares, is visiting Brava Island to check the damage caused by the latest earthquakes, which he did not specify.<\/p>\n

Speaking to Inforpress, Domingos Tavares said that \u201cthe most important thing\u201d about the visit is to raise awareness among the population about this phenomenon that has been happening and to convey \u201ca little comfort and tranquility\u201d, also showing them that the national authorities have been following this case.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe national authorities have been monitoring this case in an aware and calm manner, however, depending on the evolution, they will always take action\u201d, he guaranteed.<\/p>\n

According to the same source, it is \u201cvery important\u201d to teach people some preventive measures, which is already being done by the person responsible for Civil Protection Fogo\/Brava, however, he still said he believes that this phenomenon will normalize.<\/p>\n
