The group of HRJM employees hired by the Ministry of Health (MS), who contacted Inforpress to report the situation, asked not to be identified for \u201cfear of possible threats\u201d.<\/p>\n

They claimed that they have been \u201csuffering abuse\u201d from their employers regarding late payment of overtime over the last four years.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have been making the same complaint for the last four years, and being ignored by the leaders, especially the Minister of Health. This year there are already five months of candles in arrears and when they decide to pay, they do not pay us the full amount, they deduct two months, it remains three months and then let it be reassembled\u201d, they highlighted.<\/p>\n

The same sources stated that they were \u201coutraged\u201d by the lack of clarification on the part of the MS, demanding a \u201cbrief and convincing\u201d explanation.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe please ask that the Minister of Health show a little empathy, at least put herself in our shoes and imagine spending five months without part of her salary\u201d, they requested.<\/p>\n

The officials also stressed that they hope the situation will be resolved by the end of December, and threatened that otherwise they will turn to \u201cother means\u201d.<\/p>\n

Inforpress tried several times to contact the director of HRJM, Nilton Sousa, but was unsuccessful.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, in September 2022, contacted by Inforpress, Nilton Sousa stressed that the situation with overdue candles was \u201cin the process of being resolved\u201d.<\/p>\n

The person responsible explained that from the information he had at the time, there was an error in the processing of administrative data, but these were duly identified and the situation would be \u201cnormalized\u201d.<\/p>\n

However, the leader recalled the situation that the country has been going through in recent years, which has culminated in late payments for candles.<\/p>\n
