Africa-Press – Cape verde. <\/strong><\/span>The Fogo Solidarity Association (Afosol) today receives 666 bags of ground corn and animal feed to support livestock farmers, as part of the cattle rescue program and support for livestock farmers.<\/p>\n

The chairman of Afosol\u2019s board of directors, Eug\u00e9nio Veiga, said that of this 666 bags of ground corn and animal feed, one third is bags of corn with 30 kilograms each, and two-thirds of animal feed in bags of 40 kilograms each, totaling more than 20 tons, between corn and feed.<\/p>\n

In addition to the corn and feed purchased in the City of Praia and arriving today on the 13 de Janeiro ship, the association, according to the chairman of the board, acquired in the local market more than a hundred bags of corn of 50 kg, from a commercial establishment for the same purpose.<\/p>\n
