Africa-Press – Cape verde. <\/strong><\/span>The President of the Republic, Jos\u00e9 Maria Neves, considered Tuesday, the 22nd, after a meeting with the three mayors from the island of Fogo, that development is a matter for society and citizens.<\/p>\n

According to the Head of State, in the development process, the Government does its part, the municipalities, the enterprises, the citizens their part, noting that it is in this perspective that development should be analyzed and not focus only on the State.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe must get out of this statist logic and dust society, citizens, municipalities and mobilize partners to build a dynamic of development,\u201d said Jos\u00e9 Maria Neves, who indicated there were \u201cmany actions\u201d that will depend on the country\u2019s governance.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe President of the Republic has the mission to mobilize the nation for national, local and regional development and I will be exercising the influence there where necessary,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
